Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the Nedbank Coastal operations from an administrative and sales point of view. To build capacity and to grow market share in order to ensure that all operations are profitable, that a legendary customer service culture is instilled, that the workforce are motivated and multi-skilled and that Nedbank is perceived as an employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

•Achievement of the financial performance targets of the coastal and Southern regions.
•Responsible for increase in market share.
•Opening of branches and agencies as per the strategic plan and ensure profitable operations.
•Responsible for capacity building.
•Ensure profitable business flow to BEE partners.
•Leverage of the relationship to increase profitable business for the Bank.
•Ensure adherence to policies and procedures to protect the Bank’s assets, staff and clients.
•Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements.
•Attract, retain, develop and reward best talent.
•Create a high performance environment
•Establish a culture of exceptional service to clients.

Education and Experience Requirements:

•Grade 12 (25 points)
•B.Com degree or equivalent
•Senior Leadership Development Programme or equivalent
•Minimum 10 years banking experience of which 5 years should have been in a managerial capacity.
•Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
•Sound experience in all aspects of Sales, Administration and Banking in general.
•Understanding of banking environment (products, processes, systems and mechanism).
•Must be customer service oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Must have a high degree of self-confidence, be able to work independently and must be a self-starter
